The KONGSBERG RCU602 Remote Controller Unit is a highly versatile and reliable industrial control device designed for remote monitoring applications in demanding environments.  Built with a powerful Power PC Host Processor (P2041) operating at 1.5 GHz, it provides exceptional computational performance and stability.  The unit is equipped with 2 GB of RAM for efficient processing and 256 MB of flash memory dedicated to application storage, ensuring seamless operation even in data-intensive tasks.

Designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions, the RCU602 operates within a wide temperature range of -15˚C to +70˚C and is protected by an IP20-rated enclosure that complies with IEC 60529 standards.  This robust construction ensures reliable performance in various environmental conditions.  The device’s compact design (355 x 158 x 87 mm) and lightweight build (1.34 kg) make it easy to integrate into existing systems, with a DIN rail vertical mounting option (35 7.5/15) for secure installation.

Power efficiency is a key feature of the RCU602, with an input supply voltage of 24 VDC (18-31.2 V), a nominal current consumption of 0.75 A, and a maximum power consumption of just 20 W.  It also supports a maximum start-up current of 2.8 A and is equipped with screw terminal power connectors for secure and straightforward wiring.
