Product Description GE IS200TBAIH1CED Analog I/O Terminal Board
The IS200TBAIH1CED is an Analog I/O Terminal Board developed by GE, designed as part of the Mark VIe control system. This terminal board handles both Analog Input and Output signals (TBAI), offering robust functionality for integrating analog signals within control systems. It supports up to 10 analog input channels that accommodate various types of transmitters, such as two-wire, three-wire, four-wire, or externally powered transducers. This flexibility allows seamless integration with a wide range of sensors and measurement devices.
The terminal board not only handles analog inputs but also provides two output channels that can be configured for 0-20 mA or 0-200 mA current signals. This versatility allows for precise control of output signals, meeting specific system requirements. Both input and output channels are equipped with noise suppression circuitry, protecting the signals from surge and high-frequency noise. This ensures stable and reliable performance, even in challenging operating environments.
The board features three DC-37 pin connectors designed for connection to VAICs. For simplex applications, a single connector (JR1) is used, while in TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) configurations, all three connectors are utilized. This setup ensures smooth communication and integration between the TBAI and VAICs, optimizing performance and reliability. In TMR systems, the input signals are distributed across three connectors for R, S, and T controls. The board combines the output from these three connected drivers, using a measuring shunt to calculate the total current. This current signal is sent to the VAICs for regulation based on the commanded setpoint, enabling precise control and synchronization in redundant systems.
