FOXBORO FBM219 P0916RH  Overview: The FBM219 discrete input/output module has 24 discrete input channels and 8 discrete output channels. The accompanying terminal assemblies (TAs) support the connection of discrete input or output signals at voltages below 30 VDC, 120 VAC/125 VDC, or 240 VAC. Depending on the type of I/O signal required, TAs contain current limiting devices, fuses, relays, or relay outputs, and can choose internal or external power supplies and fuses.

Standard Design: The module features a rugged extruded aluminum enclosure to physically protect the circuitry. Specially designed cabinets provide different levels of environmental protection for the FBM, which is designed to withstand harsh environments in accordance with ISA Standard S71.04.

Visual Indicators: Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) on the front of the module provide visual indication of the operational status of the fieldbus module, as well as the discrete status of individual input and output points.

FOXBORO FBM219 P0916RH Easy Removal/Replacement: The module can be removed and replaced without removing the field device terminal cables, power, or communication cables.

FOXBORO FBM219 P0916RH Fieldbus Communications: Fieldbus communications modules or control processors interface via the redundant 2 Mbps modular fieldbus used by the FBMs. The FBM219 accepts communications on either path (A or B) of the 2 Mbps fieldbus - if one path fails or is switched at the system level, the module will continue to communicate via the active path.

FOXBORO FBM219 P0916RH Modular Backplane Mounting: Modules mount on a DIN rail mounted backplane that can accommodate up to four or eight fieldbus modules. The modular backplane can be DIN rail mounted or rack mounted and includes signal connectors for the redundant modular fieldbus, redundant independent DC power supplies, and terminal cables.
