About the Bently Nevada 330930-045-02-00 3300 NSv Extension Cable

The 3300 NSv probe offers a variety of probe case configurations, including both armored and unarmored options with thread sizes such as 1/4-28, 3⁄8-24, M8X1, and M10X1. The reverse mount version of the 3300 NSv probe comes standard with either 3⁄8-24 or M10X1 threads, providing flexibility in installation.

All components of the transducer system are equipped with gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors. These connectors are designed to lock into place, ensuring that the connection remains secure and preventing any loosening over time. The patented TipLoc molding method creates a robust bond between the probe tip and the probe body, enhancing durability. Additionally, the patented CableLoc design provides a pull strength of 220 N (50 lb), securely attaching the probe cable to the probe tip, preventing accidental disconnections or damage.

For added protection, connector protectors are recommended for use on both the probe-to-extension cable connection and the cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connection. These protectors help to prevent liquids from entering the ClickLoc connectors, which could potentially interfere with the electrical signal.

For additional sealing, each 3300 NSv extension cable includes silicone tape that can be used instead of connector protectors. However, silicone tape is not recommended for applications where the probe-to-extension cable connection may be exposed to turbine oil, as it may not provide sufficient protection in such environments.

Notes:

Proximitor Sensors are factory calibrated to AISI 4140 steel by default, but calibration to other target materials can be arranged upon request.
Silicone tape is included with each extension cable for use in place of connector protectors, but it is not suitable for applications involving turbine oil exposure.
