The 3300 XL 25 mm Transducer System is a comprehensive solution designed for measuring differential expansion (DE) in mid-size to large steam turbine generators. It comprises a separate 25 mm probe, an extension cable, and a 3300 XL 25 mm Proximitor Sensor. With a linear range of 12.7 mm (500 mils) provided by its 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) output, this system is particularly suited for quantifying the growth discrepancies between the turbine rotor and the machine stator (casing).Description

The BENTLY NEVADA 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System is designed to provide an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface, enabling it to measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. Its primary applications include vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as serving as a reference for Keyphasor and speed measurements. This system represents the most advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems, with the standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system fully complying with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability.
All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems are engineered to provide this high level of performance and to support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, thereby eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components. Each component of the 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System is designed to be backward compatible and interchangeable with other non-XL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility extends to the 3300 5 mm probe, which is an alternative for applications where the available mounting space is too small for an 8 mm probe. This design feature ensures that the system can be adapted to various mounting constraints while maintaining the same level of performance and reliability.
