The 3300 NSv probe offers a variety of configurations to meet the diverse needs of industrial applications. It is available in different probe case types, including armored and unarmored options, and features a range of thread sizes such as 1/4-28, 3⁄8-24, M8X1, and M10X1. For reverse mounting, the probe typically comes with 3⁄8-24 or M10X1 threads. This versatility ensures that the probe can be easily integrated into various machinery setups and installation environments, providing flexibility across a wide range of applications.

The 3300 NSv probe is equipped with ClickLoc connectors, which are gold-plated brass for enhanced conductivity and durability. These connectors lock securely into place to prevent loosening, ensuring a stable electrical connection even in high-vibration environments. The TipLoc molding method, a patented design by Bently Nevada, strengthens the bond between the probe tip and probe body, increasing the probe’s mechanical robustness. Additionally, the CableLoc design provides 220 N (50 lb) of pull strength, securing the probe cable to the probe tip, and preventing accidental disconnections that could lead to measurement inaccuracies.

For added protection, connector protectors are recommended at both the probe-to-extension cable and cable-to-Proximitor Sensor connections. These protectors help safeguard the connectors from liquid ingress, which could negatively affect the electrical signal. Each 3300 NSv extension cable comes with silicone tape, which can also be used in place of connector protectors in some applications. However, the use of silicone tape is not recommended for environments where the connectors may be exposed to turbine oil, as connector protectors provide superior protection in such conditions.
