The 3300 XL probe and extension cable incorporate several design improvements. A patented TipLoc™ molding method ensures a stronger, more durable bond between the probe tip and the probe body. The probe’s cable is also more securely attached, utilizing a patented CableLoc™ design, which provides a pull strength of 330 N (75 lbf) at the point where the probe cable connects to the probe tip.

Additionally, 3300 XL 8 mm probes and extension cables are available with an optional FluidLoc® cable. This specialized cable design prevents oil and other liquids from leaking through the interior of the cable, offering added protection in fluid environments.

The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor® Sensor feature corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc™ connectors. These connectors are designed for easy installation, requiring only finger-tight torque. The connectors emit an audible "click" when properly tightened, and the specially engineered locking mechanism ensures they stay securely in place, preventing loosening. No special tools are required for either installation or removal, making the setup and maintenance process simple and efficient.
